PDLC film for rear Projection (polymer dispersed liquid crystal) is the mixed product of two sheet transparent conductive film (ITO) with polymer dispersed liquid crystal(PDLC) material inside. PDLC film is on opaque condition without the electric field; when connecting to the AC power source, the crystal molecules form to well-ordered rows, then PDLC film becomes from opaque(OFF) to transparent(ON) condition. Through the function of electric fields, PDLC film can make the fast switch of transparent-opaque and opaque-transparent condition.
By sticking to the glass, PDLC film shows a excellent back projection display effect when on opaque condition(OFF)
